Photowalks - Designed for Entrepreneurs
You are the face of your business - so why are you still using that headshot from 2019?
You’re results driven, you value your time and you know the power of first impressions. We’re on the same page, then! That’s why I started offering Photowalks for Professionals - a tailored photoshoot designed to give business owners and professionals the best selection of photos in the shortest amount of time.
No stiff poses, no stuffy offices - no forgettable shots. We walk, we talk, and along the way I capture photos that reflect you, your brand, your energy, confidence and direction. Now more than ever, you need to stand out!
What type of ‘Professional’ is a Photowalk for?
Photowalks are for professionals who want more than a studio headshot. They are for:
Jennifer Neil, Leadership Coach, Story Strands
Coaches and Consultants who need to show warmth, confidence and clarity - because people choose to work with those they trust.
Business Owners - from Financial Advisors to Estate Agents - and anyone who relies on personal branding, networking, and client relationships to grow their business.
Creatives - from Graphic Designers to Musicians and everything in between. Whatever your next project may be, we can tailor the Photowalk to suit your guidelines.
Professionals in Transition - Starting something new? Rebranding? A Photowalk with me gives you all the images you need for your new website.
All! If you are the face of your business, this is for you.
How long should I set aside?
2-3hrs is perfect. It sounds like a long time, but it doesn’t feel like that - if I say so myself! It is certainly not like staying in one place (perhaps a studio) for 2-3hrs. The beauty of walking together is the opportunity to get to know each other, to be creative, to be comfortable - and to get the best variety of photos we can. The time we set aside for our Photowalk allows us to cover 6-7 locations as well as outfit changes. It also allows us to stop for a mid-shoot coffee and review what we have so far - ensuring that we achieve the results we set out for, and more.
Capturing ‘B-roll’ images or ‘contextual portraits’ is just as important as your main headshots when building a set of images for your website.
Where will we go?
I do have a few favourite routes - my favourite being a walk down the Water of Leith to Stockbridge. Living in the city centre of Edinburgh, we are spoilt by the beauty of the city - and the ability to experience a new facade (and backdrop for portraits) around every corner. The walk through Dean Village and along the Water of Leith is special because it gives us an abundance of locations to choose from - both urban and natural. Finishing in Stockbridge is great, too, because who doesn’t love a coffee shop portrait?! Meeting in the Meadows (especially at this time of year) offers us the same opportunities. The West End and the New Town, on the other hand, present fantastic opportunities for those working in a more corporate environment.
Once we are connected (whether you reach out through my website or LinkedIn), we will arrange a call to discuss possibilities and finalise a plan.
What about poses?
My style of photography is very natural. From the way I edit to the way I conduct my photoshoots - I want to capture the real you … honest, professional and approachable. I’ll make sure you feel relaxed in front of the camera (because if you’re not relaxed, I’m not doing my job properly) and that you are presenting yourself in the way that you wish. My style is just that - ‘relaxed with direction’. So, don’t worry about the poses - I’ll keep you right!
How many photos will I receive? And how quickly?
For my Professional Photowalk, I guarantee 20-25 professionally edited photos delivered within 3 days. Short and sharp - I won’t be holding you back from your goals! Additional photos and ultra-fast delivery is available upon request (and a fee - sleepless nights come at a price).
‘It was a fabulous morning and thanks so much to Manny for getting so many fab natural shots of me - and I usually HATE getting my photo taken! Not anymore! Highly recommended if anyone has a similar requirement.’

Thank you for reading my first blog and learning a bit about my work. I hope that you will be encouraged to get in touch and organise a Photowalk with me. With blue skies and 18 degrees in Edinburgh, there really couldn’t be a better time!
